About MRI
Unlike conventional X-ray examinations and computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) does not depend on radiation.
MRI Solutions performs MRI scans to evaluate the health of the musculoskeletal system, including:
- back
- neck
- spine
- bones
- muscles
- joints
Your scan will be read by our board-certified radiologist, a physician specifically trained to supervise and interpret radiology examinations. The radiologist will interpret the image and send a signed report with his findings to your primary care or referring physician, who will share the results with you. If you do not have a physician to whom the scan can be sent, you will need to be seen by one of our board-certified pain physicians.
